The traditional
bilona method

Curd is hand-churned slowly with a wooden bilona to bring up the makhan, which is then gently heated on a low flame to make golden, aromatic ghee. A time-tested process that keeps the grain, the smell and the goodness.

  • 1Whole cow milk is boiled, cooled and set into curd overnight.
  • 2Churned at dawn with a wooden bilona until the makhan floats up.
  • 3Makhan slow-cooked on a low flame till golden and grainy.
  • 4Rested, strained, jarred — and lab tested before it leaves.

Frequently asked questions

Is this 100% pure desi cow ghee?

Yes. One ingredient — cow milk ghee — made from curd by the bilona method. Every batch is tested at an accredited lab; the report is linked from the QR on your jar.

How is it made?

Milk is set into curd overnight, hand-churned with a wooden bilona at dawn, and the makhan is slow-cooked on a low flame until golden and grainy. Two days, no cream separators.

Is it A2 ghee?

We don't print A2 until we can prove it with a certificate. What we promise is pure desi cow ghee, lab tested for purity.

Why does it look grainy or solid?

That is what real bilona ghee does — it sets and turns grainy in winter and is liquid in summer. Both are normal.

How should I store it?

Cool, dry place, lid closed, always a dry spoon. Keeps nine months from packing.

How do I order and pay?
